We are a Christian charity organisation officially started in January 2013 but have been serving the poor and needy people well before that date. We seek to bring the whole gospel to meet the spiritual and physical needs of every one, despite their colour, creed and gender. The bible teaches that God loves everyone the same and equally and expects us to do the same. John 3:16

We operate out of an uncompleted 3 bed room house, which becomes an accommodation, an office, a meeting place for training and fellowship. in January 2019, our team and contacts moved into a semi permanent community hall-Currently which we built at the Ambam centre.  we live and work in Bongei village with the local people and under God try and help each person at a time. Bongei village is sandwiched between some of the neighbouring bigger villages such as, Menjim, Menang, Rumour, Kindeng, Bunum and Ganti. Living with the locals in rural Bongei Village place us in a better position to understand and identify some of the pressing challenges people face on a daily basis. We get to see, hear, feel and taste first hand experience of what people are going through but also seek to share their needs and advocate for them. Both the National and local Governments services have failed to reach the local population. As a result people die of curable diseases, children could not complete their education and get a good job, the roads systems are poorly maintained, and clinics are without basic drugs and medications.  In our experience we have had to supply and treat sick children and adults with our own resources.

In 2012 the national government announced the formation of two provinces in the country. The New Jiwaka Province and Hela province. The Jiwaka Province was separation from Western Highlands Province while Hela from the southern Highland province. After the 2012 national elections these two newly established  provinces had their own elected political leaders. In Jiwaka Province, the people elected Dr William Tongamp as their Governor for the region and Komun Joe Koim for the Anglimp south wagi district, Dr Fabian Pok for the North Wagi and Mai Dop for Jimi electorate. The governor and the three members have been working hard to build the infrastructure of the new province for the past five years.

In July 2017, the country went into general elections and have re elected Dr William Tongamp as Governor for the province and Dr Fabian Pok for North Waghi. In the Anglimp South Waghi district they have elected a new member -Ruman Joe Koim and  Jimi electorate they have elected Wake Goi. They will serve until the next general elections in 2022.

We hope and pray that the new team will work together and bring much needed service to our local community.
